After an exciting season 11 of American Idol now over, with Phillip Phillips declared the winner, many are looking forward to a new year of hilarious auditions, talented new stars, and the possibility of fresh blood since singer Jennifer Lopez could possibly leave the show.
Even Aerosmith rocker Steven Tyler seems to be wearing on viewer’s nerves with his feedback towards the singers, but that could change. Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly has picked up on the plight of Idol since this year’s performance finale ratings were down 25%, and is said to be looking to implement “some creative tweaking,” for the twelfth season, it was announced. “It’s a mature show,” Reilly also added, “and that happens with mature shows.
